"I can see where Kawika's coming from. I've probably done some cheap stuff to him, playing in the past. But now, the onus is on we're a team now. We're members of the same team, and we're working toward the same goal, and that's getting this club as many wins as possible.

"So I think it will all transition. I knew something like that would pop up. It's not a big deal."

Suprinsingly well said.

Now Mitchell be glad you dont have to play him anymore. So stop complaining.

by mob16151 on Dec 17, 2009 3:43 PM EST reply actions

Mitchell just needs to stfu and actually play effectively, which he has yet to do. Yeah, Incognito is likely a nutcase, who seriously needs anger management, but the fact remains he’s a pretty good lineman, and a fantastic depth player for us next year imo.

For the record, guys, Mitchell is done talking.

If somebody here didn’ like me, and they posted up a fanshot saying how much of a jerk I am, Brian would delete it as soon as he saw it, (assuming of course he wasn’t the author of the post to begin with). That same person who had a problem with me would be told that any issues they have with me should be kept behind the scenes and not made public. That is the point.

But it is still flawed ....... DAM 1ST AMENDMENT !!!!!!!!

The Bills do not control Twitter like Napoleon Galliford controlls BR.

That said, I agree with sireric. Everyone that thinks he is a jerk should tell him tell him privately :-)

Umm,

since when are the Buffalo Bills the government? That’s the only thing the First Amendment guarantees. That the government won’t harsh your mellow. The Bills, as a private employer can (try to) censor their employees all they want. See Larry Johnson in KC for the best example of that.

Hell, Id love him to come in and do well, bond with this team for a common good and be a player with a mean streak to go along with Wood and Levitre next year. I for one hope he sees some time this Sunday… he would fit in well

It's not all that bad.... Go Bills 2010 !!!!

Eh, it’s easy to be humble after being benched twice by a rookie coach on the worst team in football, get handed you’re walking papers as a result and then wind up playing for the Buffalo Bills. I’d guess that what we saw here wasn’t Incognito’s first reaction to Mitchell’s comment, while that comment was the first reaction Mitchell had. One was smart enough to make the PR friendly comment the public one, the other guy wasn’t.

I wonder what the odds are that Incognito will be on the roster next season?

I signed up for Second Life about a year ago. Back then my life was so great that I literally wanted a second one. In my Second Life I was also a paper salesman and I was also named Dwight. Absolutely everything was the same. Except I could fly. - Dwight Schrute

To be fair, the Dolphins wanted him and the Bills are still a step up from the Rams.

Ehh

The Bills are poop, the Rams are a pile of turds. Neither team has much going for them right now…

The Rams have all the things we need…..a new, talented HC, a young LT, a high draft pick to take a QB (if they want), a good looking young MLB….Unfortunately, they don’t have much else.

So what you’re saying is that if we merged with the Rams, we would form a single competent team. Make it happen!

I think the odds maybe high since Wood is back at OBD doing rehab, they have a MUCH better idea of when he may become

able to play full time again, I think Richie gets a decent RFA tender to stick around another season if he doesn’t kill someone in his 3 games here.

That's probably the most magnanimous response...

I could’ve expected. He’s got to play for his next contract regardless, so maybe we can catch lightning in a bottle.

At least he's saying the right things

We’ll see if he can keep it together on the field. I’m real curious to see what happens when TO drops another drive killing pass. Having a pair of mecurial players in constant proximity could liven things up on the sidelines…

Incognito’s probably feeling a little uncomfortable. Whether he’s actually sorry will just have to be borne out in actions. There’s nothing valiant about suggesting you might have wronged some people and then urging everyone to move past it. Now, I think Bills fans (including myself) are ready to give him a chance, but it doesn’t help him that he wants to rush his new teammates’ attitudes along to act like everything is not that important. That looks like his regret isn’t heartfelt. What’s the rush? Give people more than a week’s time to deal with you as a person.

You reap what you sew with people in the league, and while you can make it up to guys over time. Consequences and bad blood should be temporary, but are still deserved.

I haven’t seen anything from Incognito to suggest that he’s sorry for his actions. He’s saying the right things about playing with the Bills but I haven’t seen anything along the lines of:

“It was really stupid to headbutt not one but tow guys and then scream at my coach. I hurt my team and I really regret having done that.”

We needed some toughnosed, edgy, mean linemen

for a long time now. Wood is this type of player. Incognito is certainly this type of player….and I like it a lot.

A change of scenery is all that he may need. I think he will stick around a while. And as long as he cuts down his penalties…I don’t need a gentleman in the trenches..I want someone fighting for 80 plays straight.
