Bills behind in the hiring game...
For a team that was early in the game of hiring a coach, GM, President, etc. We seem to be falling behind some other teams that are moving quickly… Browns hired Homgren, plus they are now looking at GM candidates. Redskins hired Allen and look to have stolen Shanahan from under us.
It was reported in the Buffalo News a week or so ago that Brandon was lining up GM candidate interviews after Christmas… well two days past now. Who’s coming in or where is Ralph’s jet flying too?
This next week or so could be the most important in Bills history… I hope they know what they are doing.

Brandon is trying to keep a lid on these interviews according to the Buffalo News. He doesn’t like all the hullabaloo around the Shanahan interview.
The Bills were after Shanahan as GM/HC. They couldn’t have hired Holmgren and still gone after Shanahan so they choose Shanny.
Bruce Allen reportedly told the Bills no.
They are doing their due diligence. We’ll see who lands in Buffalo’s front office.

Agreed....unfornutately the problem is Ralph
If plans were in place regarding the Bills future after he passes, the Bills would be a difficult sell to top name GM/Coaches instead of impossible..
FYI – I am typing left handed for awhile…tried to slice the tips of my fingers of a few days ago :-)

This is still very encouraging , imo
I believe the Bills will try to hire a proven coach with a recognizable name. If that happens then I believe the director of Football Operations will be a young football man on his way up from a proven NFL front office.
Especially that last part. An up and coming GM is personally the way we should go.

Those Full Color Football shows that HBO did are outstanding
For those of you who haven’t seen them, make it a point too. They have some great footage and nice interviews with some of the pillars of the AFL
