Inactive Thoughts: Week 16
I'll make this short and sweet. These are the guys I don't expect to play this week in order from least likely to most likely to play:
Trent Edwards
Has been declared out for today's game after suffering an ankle injury last week. It'd be surprising if he ever plays for Buffalo again.
Josh Reed
Reed did not make the trip suffering from an injured ankle as well.
Bryan Scott
Scott suffered a concussion in last week's loss to the Patriots and hasn't been cleared to return to contact.
Todd Johnson
He has been downgraded to out as well with a hamstring injury.
Ryan Fitzpatrick
We're down to guesses and gut feelings now. The re-signing of Gibran Hamdan, Fitz's inability to practice at all this week, and the fact that the team has little to play for lead me to believe that Fitzpatrick will be the emergency QB at best. My guess is that is what he is designated.
Ashlee Palmer
Palmer was limited in practice all week with an ankle injury.
Joe Kolpfenstein
The guy has yo-yoed off and on Buffalo's roster and hasn't been active for one game. He's the most likely healthy scratch.
James Hardy
I really tried to find a way that he would be active today but with Drayton Florence sick all week, Palmer likely out, Hardy's lack of special teams work, Steve Johnson's slot reps and special teams work I don't know how Hardy will see the field. Even a guy like Chris Ellis plays special teams.
Other options are DE Chris Ellis and OT Jamon Meredith who were both inactive last week.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

I fear you are right about Hardy, but I’m still hoping against hope that Russ Brandon did the smart thing and ordered Perry Fewell to play him. The new GM and HC desperately need to have some tape on Hardy under real game conditions so that they can make their decisions about how to handle the WR position next year.
