Buffalo Bills Replay: How did Brian Brohm do? | Democrat and Chronicle
"Brohm's only been in this offense six weeks, he's hardly worked with the first-string, and he's never played in an NFL game. Yet I saw no difference in his play from Edwards' or even Ryan Fitzpatrick's, so that alone gives me reason to be encouraged. I suspect he will get better from here, at least I hope he does."

If the Bills take Clausen with the 8th pick
im done
"Hold ya chin up...nuh nuh nuh...gone" -Marshawn Lynch-
Why? He is the most pro-ready QB available? I do think they need to address LT w/ the 1st pick, but if the new regime decide on Clausen I would be ok w/ that.
Am I the only one who thinks the Bills would’ve won the 2000 Super Bowl, if someone tackles Kevin Dyson?

Because if you put Clausen behind a this line he is no better than Brohm, im just not sold on the kid
not to mention He would increase the chances of Wies as HC

Well if you think Andre Ramsey is our opening day LT next year you’re mistaken. I would love to have Clausen. The OL will get better just by returning all the guys from injury and you know that any GM can’t just leave it alone.

Any player the Bills pick with their #1 will improve the team. Any player. They need so much help that the sky’s the limit for this team right now (well, in talking about draft options).

Improve the team long term? Probably. Short term?
Remember we probably said the same thing last year … right before and right after we chose Aaron Maybin.
Whoops.
I think we have glaring needs on both sides of the ball, most notably at OL, DT, DE, and LB (not to mention QB). I’d be happy with a selection at any of those positions.
Anyone who thinks this team will compete for a playoff spot next season is drinking some wild Kool-Aid.

Is it really average talent or just poor coaching, how important is depth and experience.

Bills strength of schedule is surprising high—I think like 5th toughest, so they won’t do well with the tiebreaker. We need the other 5 loss teams to win this week. A pick or two has cost us players our scouting brain trust has actually liked in the past—Patrick Willis and Big Ben come to mind—so this can be critical.

Seems like more and more people were actual more impressed with Brohm....then they were depressed with him...
Hopefully he gets another shot this Sunday.
Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. - Peter Gibbons

Here’s the general feeling – he wasn’t worse than Fitzpatrick or Edwards. So what the heck does that tell us? People just seem to think he’ll get better with an offseason. We thought the same thing about Trent Edwards.

Trent's issues are mental.........
Brohm hasnt had a chance behind a decent starting OL…….and there’s no way to know if he’ll develop the same “mental” issues Trent has…..

It’s tough to call the line decent when looking at any point during this season.
