Inactive Thoughts: Week 13
Just as they were last week, OT Demetrius Bell (knee), DT John McCargo (calf) and CB Ashton Youboty (ankle) are all out tonight in Canada. For weeks we've been expecting Terrence McGee to finally make it back from his injury. He's been limited in practice all week. Will he make it to the field tonight?
Here's my thoughts, as always in order from most likely to be out to most likely to play:
Demetrius Bell
John McCargo
Ashton Youboty
James Hardy
Steve Johnson
Terrence McGee
Brian Brohm will be the emergency QB.
Look familiar? That's because it's the exact same as the game four days ago in Buffalo. With a short week it's a safe bet that it'd be the same. There's a chance McGee plays because he's always been a gamer. If that happens I'd expect to see Cary Harris sidelined with Donte Whitner moonlighting at nickel CB.
One last thing - I really wish Roscoe Parrish was on this list instead of Steve Johnson
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Quick Note on Roscoe
After the dolphin game last sunday, the team was well, still on the field celebrating. Roscoe took the B-Line to the locker room. I wasn’t singling him out, I just happened to look to the tunnel and seen him going in all by his lonesome. It’s to bad what has happened to him, but he is all but done as a Bill.
I want McGee to play, worried about his conditioning though. The more i think about it, we are as healthy as we can get back there, so there is no time like the present.
Excuses are a sign of weakness!!!!!!
I'm not sure if i want Mcgee in if he is not 100%

I agree
Didn’t he get schooled by Ginn when he tried to play hurt. I love the heart but…

Yeah, last year
If there is one place on the team where we have good depth it is a CB. We have been good without him so i say let the knee get 100%.
I do wish Byrd was in though

He will be in on a limited basis just like last week.

I would imagine.

Thats a shame.
I hope he can still get to 10 int’s. That would be pretty damn cool to have.

While I agree on CB depth...
it is still painful to watch our D force the passing game on the opponents only to see them pick Corner(, Reggie) apart…
Let’s hope D-Flo has another big game! Byrd for a pick-6!
agreed
No sense in him coming back to quick from an injury like that.

Terrence McGee
I feel better with him coming back, knowing that Byrd, Whitner and Wilson are healthy.

I wouldn’t be shocked in Parrish is scratched and Hardy or Ellis gets the nod. With Lynch back and well rested Jackson can handle the put return duties. Since Parrish is gone after the season ends what’s the point in having him active? Why not get more reps for the young guys? Besides, I like the thought of Evans, Owens, Hardy, and Nelson on the field at the same time—mismatches galore!

Fewell has gone with Parrish. It’s the only personnel move I haven’t liked from him.

I wish Perry would speak frankly about Hardy sometime....
…. is he still hurt and should’ve stayed on IR ….. or does he just not get it and a poor study with the playbook?
I find the latter hard to believe as long as he has rode the pine this year and has been “mentored” by T.O.
Reed might be cut next year anyway.
GET HARDY AND SCUBA STEVE IN THERE A LITTLE!

He hurt his groin
and has been slowed because of it.
Not sure why they keep him inactive each week if he is 100% now.
If he was on IR, he wouldn’t be practicing, so even if he doesn’t play, he can still learn and get better.

Reed won’t have to be cut. He’s in the last year of his deal.

It’s not exactly a secret why Hardy isn’t active. The dude doesn’t play special teams, and obviously there aren’t any reps to go around at WR.
Johnson will always get the nod before Hardy when everyone’s healthy because Johnson can play special teams.

6.5 for 7. McGee giving it a go but not starting. Cary Harris is inactive.
