Its lights out for ex Bill in the octagon
Brendan Schaub had made it all the way to the final bout Saturday night in the UFC's show called The Ultimate Fighter. The T.K.O punch that Roy " Big Country " Nelson most likely had this former Buffalo Bills practice squad player thinking wheres the football, as he layed in the midle of the octagon eyes rolling around like ive never seen. Before the fight Joe Rogan ( UFC anouncer ) stated that the University of Colorado product played full back was once on The Buffalo Bills practice squad for a season. He also played some Arena Football with the Utah Blaze ( Americas team ), Whoo hoo! So Far he is 0-1 in the MMA when it counts the most, I hope the trait of choking in the big one did not rub off on this guy. I mean hey, the guy once wore the uniform of the greatest sports team ever. That alone gave me a reason to cheer for the guy. In the end the result of the match was not different than of a Bills game, heck a Buffalo Bills decade. A loss

My point: any guy who has wore the mighty colors of the red, white, and blue and no other NFL team is someone I favor. The fact that he was once a Bill, even though its was the practice squad, I will now somewhat follow his career and watch future fights. I hope he has a long and memorable career. I know the comments will come in saying "so what, he was just on the practice squad" it will be the usual miserable guys out there who have no faith in these Bills. Whats the fun of being a fan if all you do is doubt your so-called team and write negative comments.I still would of wrote this post if the guy was just the towel boy. I have pride and faith in my Buffalo Bills!!!
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

I followed this season of The Ultimate Fighter for the first time........
It was fun……..It’s amazing to me that Big Country could win all his matches….but the guy has been doing this a while…….I loved how he just laid his blubber all over all his opponets before finally beating them………that KO on Schaub was no joke though…….he clocked the guy.
You know there is a problem with the education system when you realize that out of the 3 R's only one begins with an R. - Dennis Miller

One problem with that.
He was never a member of the practice squad. He might have been invited to rookie camp or brought in for a tryout but was never on the PS.
Marcus Jones
… was also affiliated with the Bills in some way after he left Tampa. Unfortunately, he too was knocked out.
Love this Sport
Dude got knocked out by fatboy. Surprised more football fans are not MMA fans. Word is Jared Allen of the viks trains MMA and says that it has helped him so much on the football field. Says MMA training is a lot harder than football training.
