Dansby wants a long term ddeal with the kind of money he gets from the franchise tag, so until that deal is reached or his productivity goes down, we might see Carlos and the Cards play this game for a while.

As for Warner, and Cards and him have been in deep talks since the superbowl. If he’s coming back anywhere, it will be in a Cards uniform.

Sorry if i burts some optimistic bubbles here, but I’m just trying to keep things in perspective.

It’s easier to be a realistic optimist when things don’t go your way. Those unrealistic shoot for the stars guys can never be satisfied.

It seems to me that some of these monetary figures are entering the twilight zone. 14 Mil for Cassell and now 9 Mil for Dansby. It makes me appreciate all the more our strategy of going after affordable players without breaking the bank.
