3-4/Cover 2 Hybrid

Thinking about our defense. I was wondering what you guys thought of our defense changing some things up on defense in certain situations.

Our Bills have done some things like have two lineman, both on their feet up at the line, in a dime package, but i believe that meant having more DBs on the field, as opposed to LBs.

Couldn't Stroud hold the middle, and then have two DEs, and four LBs, so to add more pass rush?

Just a thought, and hope to spark a general consensus of what the Bills can do schematically to shore up the defensive attack, and if our free agent prospects and draft picks might dictate this, something that we don't know as of yet, but can surely speculate.

I'd love to have a DE who could slide to a 3-4 OLB and then have basically two DEs on one side (Maybin/Brown and Schoebel rushing from the same end.

Or, even bringing or having another OLB from FA or Crowell, and then adding a back on the inside. This post is due to my contempt and questioning of the Cover 2. Something I am not sure we all enjoy thoroughly

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
