Hi Everyone, new to the board and being a "dreamer" (my first post was about getting Julius Peppers in here) and hearing the news about Michael Crabtree's foot stress fracture injury today I pose this hypothetical:
If Crabtree somehow falls to Buffalo's pick (ala Matt Leinhart), do we pull the trigger on the gamechanger and best WR in the draft?
I would be pulling for them to take him in this scenario....but others may disagree?
Also, is anyone else sick of hearing people say what Turk Schonert said in todays Buff News about Lee Evans, "In our division they know who our big threat is. Its Lee Evans. So what are they going to do? They're goind to take him away. They are going to make you beat them in other ways."
By this statement, I guess the rest of the league doesn't know Larry Fitzgerald is Arizona's big threat, Andre Johnson is Houston's big threat, Steve Smith is Carolina's big threat, etc. These guys still make big plays even though they are the focus of every defensive co-ordinator. I'm sick of that being an excuse for Lee Evans. Big time players make big time plays.
Great forum everyone. Love reading and look forward to your comments.
