Sign Fred Taylor Now!

Since Fred Taylor has been outright released from Jacksonville, why not sign the guy this week before the Free Agency period begins on Friday?  Why let him even whiff New England if we are ready to sign this guy.

I assume they (Russ Brandon and Dick Jauron) are wanting to return home from Indy, but unless I've read differently, John Guy, Pro-Personnel guy is not in Indy and he could make the deal.

Considering Marshawn is likely sitting down the first 4 games of the year, we can't afford not to have an experienced back like FT supporting Fred Jackson.  Then when ML comes back he will be fresh to carry the load for a while and give Fred Taylor a break until later in the year when you need to have three fresh backs on your roster.

I like the idea of this signing.  New England's been doing it for years with these released players (Corey Dillion, Lamont Jordan, etc.)

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
