Scout.com: TE Daniels Gets High Tender
Texans TE Owen Daniels gets a $2.8 million tender. The Buffalo Bills, should they still be interested in pursuing him, will need to compensate Houston with Round 1 and Round 3 draft picks to make the deal happen.
That's a deal breaker, folks. Buffalo is unlikely to seriously pursue Daniels.

Was there any talk ever coming from Houston that they’d even want to trade him?
BG – Has anyone from the SB Houston blog ever hinted at anything like that?
No and no. He’s staying.

They best stay away from him now.
This would not be a wise trade for a team with so many needs.

Not suprised
and actually kind of happy about it. I didn’t want to give away high pics for him.
Besides we have a good developping TE in Fine. If you compare Daniel’s first season with Fine’s they are very simular. I say we let Fine develop, i have confidence that he’s the TE we’re looking for.

I'm not surprised he got that tender
Would have been shocked if it was anything OTHER than highest one.
If the Bills were a drug, I could only they were speed so I could lose some weight as well.
