Miami to sign safety Gibril Wilson to a 5 year deal
According to Adam Schefter he will be off the market come free agency. So, rather than me getting my wish of signing this stud safety. We now have to face him TWICE a year on an ever improving Miami team. Ugghhh!!!! Why is it they never do what I want. LOL I know he was going to be quite the price to pay to get him, but, why does Miami pull the trigger and we dont. Why are we going to pay the same amount for Greer when we have some good young corners coming into their own. I guess I must be missing something here. I know having good corners is a must, but, we werent even going to pay that price in the past for Winfield who is a much better corner than Greer will ever be. Oh well, just my opinions.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

well we don’t know if we’re going to resign Greer or how much money it would take – but Greer was one of the bright spots last year – 2 TD’s and probably our biggest playmaker – we lose the rams game without him. plus as far as a cover corner – I think he’s our best
Oh. Uh, will you hold my wallet for me while I take the test, please? There's a thousand dollars in there... or maybe there isn't. Know what I mean?
McKelvin anyone?
probably our biggest playmaker

I don’t think you can say McKelvin is our biggest playmaker – actually if I were to retract i’d probably say Lee.
Leo’s gonna be good – he had 2 picks and 5 pd with 32 tackles – but thats not being our biggest playmaker…….yet

He also had some electrifying returns...
He had more big plays than Greer this year…. not saying he’s the guy, just saying his name should be on the short list.

gotcha – i’m guessing he returns at least 2 TD’s on KO this year.
but yest – he’s on the short list

Great
now we have to face a guy twice a year that punched one of our players (Josh Reed) in the face.
I agree that Wilson would have been a nice upgrade but they are going to give Whitner one last chance. Wilson was too expensive and when he punches one of your players in the face, there isn’t a good probability that you are going to pick him up the next season – IMO.
The time to deliver is now and if you fail to do so you will no doubt witness the consequences first hand.
