Coles ..... please

I am for one crossing my fingers on Coles.  I know the odds are against us.....

He was a stud when chad was the QB, Dolphines made the playoffs and the Dolphines aren't afriad to spend the money

Do you guys think that Coles is worth 7 mil?  he is not signing for 6 with the jets...do you think he's worth 7?   I dont, but i would pay him 7  i know thats a little weird to say but how outstading would it be to watch week one next year and have Coles and Evans  on the same side of the ball......with a center whom seems promissing

Evans, Coles, and Reed

That lineup of recievers sounds awesome. I say we pay the man

Yes, we have the money.

I have said the same thing about Housh. Sign him to a 3 year deal that is front loaded and hopefully let Hardy/Johnson take over the starting position in a couple of years.

This is true for any one of the FA WRs

Coles, Houz and even Reggie Williams

All three would instantly become the #2 guy until Hardy or Johnson can take over. Actually I think Johnson might take over Reed’s spot way sooner.

I could see that too.

$7 million a year for Coles?

That would tie up a lot of cash at the WR position. Of course, it’s not like there are all that many ways that Buffalo can blow the cap space. Re-signing Peters, of course, and getting Fred Jackson a 5ish year deal. Some would say re-sign Greer but I’d rather let him walk.

I’m sure I’m forgetting someone….but am equally sure someone will remind me.

Nah, thats it in my book, unless they want to re-extend Kelsay for another 10 years

If the Bills were a drug, I could only hope they were like speed so I could lose some weight as well.

I say Coles is worth 7+

If it takes 7M to sign him, it takes 7M, if it takes 8M it takes 8M. I just want him signed. I figure a 3 year 24M front loaded contract would do it, and we have the cash too, so why not.

As for the other signings, we can probably offer Peters the same kind of money, around the neighbourhood of 8M per year, front load that, over 5 or 6 years and that takes care of Peters. As for Jackson, I think he’s worth 5M, but i doubt they’ll give him that. I’m thinking he’ll be lucky if he gets 3.5M per year over 4 years.

And with all of that done it still leaves enough money to sign all our rookies and maybe even add anothe FA signing, thinking maybe Sean Jones.

I think 8 is way too much …. unless you could get him to sign a 3 year contract. 3 years, 24 mil would be ideal. It pays him now, but gets him out the door by the time he really starts to decline.

I hope they do that. I’ve never bled out of my eyes before, it could be quite thrilling.

Sean Jones

The Bills should dish out some money to him as well. And I personally want Crowell back but not if it means spending way to much cash.

Agreed.

I would like Laveranues Coles, Sean Jones, and Angelo Crowell (if healthy). It’s not looking too good right now.

Great plays don't make great players; great players make great plays.

You must be talking about Losman right? Crowell or a different LB has to be a priority in FA or the draft.

You’re forgetting the Duke!

He would still get after the passer better than Kelsay(on a good day!)
