Bills' Simpson asks for program to erase charge

Buffalo Bills safety Ko Simpson has asked a South Carolina court for admission into a pre-trial intervention program with the aim of avoiding charges stemming from a January arrest.

If you recall, Simpson was arrested outside of a bar after allegedly interfering with the arrest of some of his friends and yelling "I'm Ko Simpson with the Buffalo Bills. I am worth millions!" during the altercation. The quote is now infamous amongst Buffalo's fan base.

Simpson is expected to be allowed into the program, which mandates that 50 hours of community service be completed as well.

Ko and don’t come back. Ko was a good player before he got hurt. Then something went off in his brain and he is no longer instinctive or a good tackler. He would have been a pretty good player, but he is very cautious about that ankle.

Ko’s Bills tenure is probably over. He never showed he was anything more than backup quality anyhow.

If KO's tenure is over,

it is not because he got drunk and said something stupid. I mean, it is not like he was driving drunk and hit an innocent women with his car. If that happened the Bills would definitely…….wait a minute….never mind.

Well his contract is prohibitive.

I said it then and I’ll say it now… he won’t be cut for this. He’ll probably play out his contract and leave.

I meant isn't prohibitive....

and if they draft a safety I could easily see them letting him leave. He has little special team ability and little starting ability so they probably will let him go somewhere else to make his millions.
