An enthused blogger wrote that the Bills need to get Jay Cutler and/or Julius Peppers. I agree, we need to try to get both. I understand there are a lot of fans of Trent Edwards; there are a lot of people who are skeptical about Cutler. At first hand I became a little surprised at how many people are behind Edwards, who has proven nothing. But after some thought, it’s understandable they feel that way. You see, 9 years of failure has conditioned many a fan to having very low expectations and has made living in mediocrity commonplace. However, it doesn't have to be like this. I mean, get real folks, Cutler is much better than Edwards at this point and probably in the long run as well. You don’t want "to rock the boat?" So go cheer for the "Bungals." If Ralph Wilson truly wants to appease the fans and make up for his utter and repeated failure, then he should go out and get Cutler. Chase Peppers as well. Offer Edwards and a 2nd rounder next season for Cutler. Offer your first round pick for Peppers. 'Hec, work out a three team deal if you want. The Broncos seem to want to go with an established yet conservative quarterback. Thus, work out a three-team trade with the Broncos and Panthers. I would engineer it like this: Edwards and the Bills’ 1st or 2nd round pick this year to the Panthers. Delhomme and the Panthers’ 2nd round pick to the Broncos. Cutler and Peppers to the Bills. This is not rocket science, folks, snap out of it. Let’s do this, Ralph!!!
