A view from both sides of the coin: Bills in Toronto
Two pillars in the Buffalo business community discuss the dark cloud that is the future of the Bills in Buffalo.

I agree with Erkie on this one...
I think it’s a good thing for the long term success of the Bills. Htis doesn’t tell me they have one foot out the door but rather they are exhausting their efforts to keep the Bills.
Two games to Toronto is better than 8 to L.A.

To me it feels like they’re that kid leaning on the glass at the top of the CN Tower: Flirting with disaster!

Yeah, and you wouldn't mind if your wife pimped herself twice a year as long as she didn't leave you either?
I mean after all, she could use some of the money to buy you a nice pair of slippers!
It is a slippery slope the Bills are sliding down. Once Rogers’ group figures out how to make this thing profitable, it is only a matter of time. Just look at the difference in money that can be made. The new stadium argument is a joke. How many new stadiums have been built/are being build right now? There is always money for these kinds of things if the public wants it.

Besides, we do have quite a few pansies.

pansies are nice... I didn't know you had a "green thumb" :-P

It's two completely different things.
In the grand scheme of things we could lose our team. If instead of losing my house I rent out the downstairs apartment, I still get to live in the house. That’s a better analogy than my wife walking the streets.

True
But I was trying to make the anology that many of use have an emotional investment in the Bills. Granted it is not the same as the one we have with our wives (I hope), but the fact is that the Bills FO is essentially pimping the Bills and telling us it is in our best interest. I am not buying it.

You don't have to buy it but I am buying it.
If the Bills were set financially why would they do it in the first place?
