QB Completion Percentage Article
Excellent article on the importance of a college QB's completion percentage and how that translates to the pro game.
The article also mentions Marc Trestman's four qualities that he looks for in a QB.
In comparing Trent Edwards to the qualities I see a need for improvement in the #3 areas, specifically the ability to sidestep pressure and throwing on the move.
There is also a JP Losman reference in the article.

Incredible list of bust QBs who didn’t have a 60% completion rate in their last season.

He uses completion percentage in college to project failure at the pro level.
First round QBs under 60% in college have less than favorable chances of success.
Bills QBs of note:
JP Losman: 59% in college
Trent Edwards: 59%
Jim Kelly: 63%

Damn
I wanted to argue that these stats applied only to 1st rounders. But looking at some of the current elites in the NFL it still holds
Tom Brady: 62.3% completion percentage in college
Peyton Manning: 62.85%
Ben Roethlisberger : 65.5%
Keeping it local, University of Buffalo’s Drew Willy career completion percentage : 63.8%
