Quite a few people at this little corner of the Internet were glumly certain that Buffalo would make no significant moves in free agency. (I was one of them, as it pertained to filling positions of dire need.) The word 'splash' was thrown around and several people complained that Buffalo--while at least attempting to address the center position with the signing of Hang--really wasn't making waves in the pool. The TO signing, of course, ended all of that talk. (Now the talk is whether the signing equates to a cannonball or bellyflop.) So, as Bills fans, we can look back on the free agency period and recognize that it was, at a minimum, interesting.

Packers fans, however, know no such solace. Green Bay has signed exactly one free agent this offseason: Duke Preston. We can debate whether the signing means those Cheeseheads are in hell or purgatory. What can't be debated is that their fans had nothing at all to get worked up about (for good or ill) this free agency.

So, be of good cheer and hope TO doesn't melt down until Hardy is ready to return...and that Hardy will actually, you know, contribute this season.
