Another good Wes Bunting article on his top 5 offensive position rankings. A couple of surprises, including 1 in the TE department.

Tough to argue, though I do disagree. I like Nelson too. I’m just glad it wasn’t Jared Cook.

I'm not a fan of

Jared Cook at all. you would be strting from scratch in terms of blocking. the team doesn’t have time for that. A few months ago people were hot for Shawn Nelson and now apparently there could be some dissent with regards to who the #1 TE is.

Pettigrew is deffinatly the better TE, although Nelson's hands are better

So I’m guessing he was looking at it more from a receiving TE perspective and not a whole picture perspective.

I’M also a little surprised that he has Britton ahead of Oher for LT’s. Mind you that could work to our advantage. Should we trade, Oher is the guy that I’d like us to draft.

Anybody like Herman Johnson?

So the guy is huge, tall, and massive. He takes up space. Im not sure if he would be starting material this season, but I think he will be a fine player in this league. Maybe if he plays there for our entire training camp he could be ready to start. He played in the SEC which to me has the most potential NFL players, and LSU was very successful during his playing career, including a National Championship. I haven’t seen him as high on other scouting boards, but I think the BIlls will address another need in the second round, so Unger and Robinson are gone, and go the old Marv Levy route and take O-lineman later in the draft and develop them. The only question about Herman Johnson is how long will it take for him to be NFL ready?
