Trade Peters to KC for Waters and draft pick
Fellow Rumblers,
I have no inside information. I have no un-named sources. I have no blogs to reference.
However, what I do know:
1) The Bills want to get rid of Peters
2) If the Bills get rid of Peters, they will have multiple holes in OL
3) Waters does not want to play in KC
4) KC has an expensive QB that needs his blind side protected, last year LT Albert is better suited for RT
Granted a Peters for Waters trade straight up dese not make sense for the Bills. But what about Peters for Waters and a draft pick?
If you have two players that want out; this looks like a good trade for both teams if the right draft pick can be thrown in to balance the trade.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

KC will stick with Albert at LT or draft an OT at No. 3 overall before they trade away a pick and a player. I doubt Waters is traded, and the Chiefs are already short a second-round pick thanks to their trade for Cassel/Vrabel. The Chiefs won’t be dealing anywhere but down.

How about Peters for the Chiefs first round pic?… nevermind, that pic would probably cost more than Peters.

Again, the Chiefs won’t be trading anywhere but down, not out. Buffalo wouldn’t want a pick that high in return, either – too much money. They’d rather give that type of money to Peters.

And since they wont give that type of money to Peters, we’re all screwed.

Agreed. This might be the best chance he has to grab a starting spot. I honestly think that he has a shot at starting LG next season.

Peters for Waters and a 3rd
Why not get someone who wants to be here and then parlay our new 3rd round pick and our 5th or 6th round pick to move where we need to in the draft to get who we need.
With this action we would have to draft a OT with the 11 pick.
The rest are best players on the board that fit our system and if we need to move up or down we can. Buffalo has seemed to do better with undrafted free agents that some of our picks. I would look to see a couple UFA coming in and actually making an impact with the Bills either on Special teams or on the practice squad.

Albert is not better suited for right tackle
Where did you hear that? Albert did an excellent job as a rookie LT.
Albert to RT
Here is the blog about moving Albert to RT if thet draft or aquire another LT
push Albert to a guard or right tackle position. Essentially, drafting Monroe or Smith would be the equivalent of drafting to upgrade at guard or right tackle.
My Idea
Peters and our 5th for Gonzo and Waters
Gabezababe
Still too much on our part. Heck Peters for Waters and Gonzo is too much on our part.

The Bills might do it because it
fills two big holes with two pretty good players, even if they are a bit older. The Bills are in win now mode, so they might be willing to do a trade like that. How about a 4th instead of a 5th?
