The Eagles could be looking to add a left tackle in the first round or via trade with the Bills for Jason Peters.
When asked if the Bills had contacted the Eagles about Peters, [Eagles GM Tom] Heckert responded, "I can’t say that."
A league source told [Philadelphia Enquirer reported Bob] Brookover that the Eagles wanted to sign Panthers tackle Jordan Gross before he re-signed with Carolina.

Give them Peters for their 21st pick and I'll be happy!
Their obviously willing to let go of one of their first rounders, I say just trade Peters for the 21st pick and get all of this over with.

I would take #28
The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.

Thats why I want 21.
I’d settle for 21 alone, but if they only want to give us 28 I’d want a second pick…. mind you we could draft Mack with 28.

This is like the 1,214th different way of saying “we have no new information on Jason Peters” They just keep putting Philly and Buffalo together. Philly has a propensity to draft the Lines….I don’t see them giving up picks and $10-12 mill a year to do that. Philly has made big FA signings in the past ie. T.O. & Jevon Kearse come to mind, but I just cannot envision how it’s even fathomable for them to give up a 1st & 3rd and pay the guy a ridiculous amount of money.
Leave an offer on the table for Peters, trade out of #11, and fill holes that way. Time to get creative

Maybe Peters won’t be asking for outrageous money from another team (Eagles). He might just want out of Buffalo and his high money demands are his agents way of doing it.

Yep, I couldn’t agree more (Unless Everett Brown is sitting there for you).

Trade during draft
Shouldn’t the trade only happen after our 11th pick? Once the Bills get the OT we want (Smith, maybe Oher), then we can deal with Philly. I also think the Bills should be able to do better than the 21st pick, but then again, under this scenario (the Bills drafting an OT), I guess Philly would be in a better position to negotiate — but I still think we should wait.
