I'm not surprised that Preston was misleadingly quoted on PFT.

I don’t know anything about him so I posted it and was irritated about it as we should have been. I am glad he took the time to elaborate.

PFT is the soap opera of NFL reporting.

I was thinking that there’s no way Preston would have talked like that about the Bills. We should ban all linking to PFT. Florio’s a piece of work.

But he has great sources for the inside info. I posted this Preston thing on Rumblings and don’t regret it. I would assume he could quote someone properly.

i wouldn’t get too worked up about it…the Bills are the center of media land now with T.O. and profootballtalk is no different. He was trying to say the Bills were “grasping at straws” by signing T.O.

I will say, the Bills getting T.O. for nothing except a measily $6.5 million and 1 year is an absolute steal. The guy can still play and if we ever get this OL situation figured out, I can guarantee you this offense will have a big year in 2009
