Woo Frickin' Hoo!!!
Chris Brown at BB.com had a draft chat earlier today. A little ways into it:
| 12:46 | [Comment From Alton Valenzuela] Do you think the bills have intrest in Malcom Jenkins? |
| 12:46 | Chris Brown: No |
I, for one, have been worried about Jenkins being on the board at #11 for quite some time. Jauron, a former DB, loves taking DBs in the draft--like last year, for example. The Bills, for reasons never made clear, love taking Ohio State DBs. After Jenkins' disappointing Combine 40 times it was clear he would fall out of the top 10....and be there at #11. Let's hope Chris Brown has some inside info on this....
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

What is the latest on chris kelsay and ko simpson being traded? Any interest from other teams?
1:12 Chris Brown: Not that I’m hearing.
Shocking.
Your best bet to trade one of those guys is for a 7th rounder during the draft if/when a team looking for a DE or FS who could be a backup right away miss the guys they want in the draft.
Strong possibility it could be after the draft unfortunately...
I think Bills trade Kelsay, keep Roscoe if that happens.

I see Kelsay getting chucked to the Bucs to make up cap room to the floor
If the Bills were a drug, I could only hope they were like speed so I could lose some weight as well.
If the Bills don’t want to keep Kelsay, what makes anyone think the other teams want him?

Once again, CAP floor, as in every team MUST spend x amount of dollars to reach this floor
Even factoring in rookie money, the Bucs wills till be under, why not trade a 7th pick for a DE who has played in the NFL and will be gone in 2 years anyhow? You get as much time from him as a rookie, and if the salary cap goes bye bye, so does the Cap floor, which means they can axc Kelsay in that situation without paying another cent since the signing bonus has already been prorated onto us.

Yeah, but....
….that doesn’t mean they have to waste their cap space to reach the floor. They could re-sign promising guys to front loaded contracts.

I actually would love Jenkins.....
in the very first mock I did I had him coming to the Bills……..
I know it wouldnt be the smartest choice given the other glaring needs….but that guy is gonna be a stud……..

As a Safety, yes he will be good, as a CB, not so much
I think Alphonso Smith is a better choice there.

JENKINS?!
Why do we start speculating that the Bills could land Sanchez…..we do not and will n ot draft a corner before round 5…qoute me and say I told ya so if they do draft a CB before that on sunday night!
Have you watched this team draft before? We ALWAYS take a DB, and they are from Ohio State if we can do it
:-P

Just blowing smoke man. They don’t want anyone to know they want Jenkies, so they don’t miss out on him.
That would suck if we drafted him….
