I think we should be bring in K Graham Gano out of FSU to compete for a roster spot. I don’t know about everyone else but I’ve about of nail biting every time Lindell steps onto the field, even for a “chip shot.”
Also a FA FB wouldn’t be too bad either, I’m definately not a fan of McIntyre.
Agreed
I’m not a huge fan of Lindell. He rattles my nerves every time he trots onto the field, especially in close games.

"As the governor of Louisiana once said, the only way Chris Kelsay can lose his job is if he got caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
I am definitely onboard
I think we need to strat grooming Lindel’s replacement. Gano is a good prospect because he has a huge leg and punts as well.
Your ability to control the LOS is directly linked to your ability to win football games!
FEED the BEAST!
Gano is now a Bill. Great signing IMO.

oups, read wrong. It’s Urrego that we signed.

Jason Boltus
I played safety at St. John Fisher for three years against Boltus (mainly watching on the sideline lol). The kid has a huge arm and great mobility. I would like to see the Bills bring him into camp and compete for a roster spot. Heck, he cant be any worse than Hamdan.
Give me:
QB – Brian Hoyer Michigan State
FB – Brannon Southerland Georgia
OT – Gerald Cadogan Penn State
DE – Pannel Egboh Stanford
OLB – Lee Robinson Alcorn State
"Get ready for the pain women…the pain train is coming Whooo Whooooo !!!!!" – Terry Tate Office Linebacker
I'll take that
and one of the speedy RB’s to stash on the PS

If I am any RB... I stay away from this team.
Why sit behind Lynch, Jackson, Rhodes? Plus they have Omon on the roster and was on the roster all year last year. I have no chance of actually making the roster so why do I go to Buffalo?

lynch hasnt started all 16 games either season. its known RB is always injury prone, and rhodes wont be here long. i dont think its as bad as you think

two years is a long time...
Put it this way… the guy that signs here wouldn’t see the field for at least two years. I don’t want to be hanging on a practice squad that long. I want to sign with a team where I have an outside shot of making the 53 man roster. That ain’t Buffalo if you are a RB. Offensive and defensive linemen sign with Buffalo as UDFA.

I’m not so sure on Hunt, He’s small and doesn’t have much room to add more weight. He’s MUCH better suited as a 3-4 OLB.
by CanadianBillsFan on Apr 27, 2009 1:58 AM EDT up reply actions
My picks from that list...
OT- Gerald Cadogen (shock)
RB- Kory Sheets
DE- Phillip Hunt
DE- Maurice Evans
DT- Mitch King
And I suppose bringing in Gano for a looksie wouldn’t hurt.

WNY players
Nice to see WNY players get an opportunity at the next level: Derek Kinder (WR), Drew Willy (QB), Mark Rubin (SS), Dan Gronkowski (TE)
he is a big nasty from a big 10.......probably good solid camp fodder.

Last year this team kept 9 on the roster, counting the draftees that only makes 8. I wouldn’t be shocked to see them grab up 4 or five more and let them battle it out for PS and the one roster spot.
The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.
But if we have 15 or 20 DBs doesnt that eat up some of the space for O-line?

I really like the Bell pickup
Tackle with a good frame and some real upside. I’m surprised he went undrafted and he was one of the guys I had my eye on for us to pick up. Glad we did…
McCall seems like a solid pickup. A big, blocking TE, but he’s not a receiving threat at all. He’ll have a shot to make the team as the 3rd TE if the staff is comfortable enough with Fine, Nelson and him as a blocker only.

There's an error though
If you look at the game log, he was actually 15 of 18 on FGs, not 15 of 23. That’s not too bad.
Now if he played some CB in high school, he’s got a roster spot locked up.
I've been feeling Buffalo ill.
Game log isn't right though....

1 thing in his defense, a back-up on USC is probably better then a starter at a D2 school.

LB Solomon Elimimian
This guy looks interesting. Lots of tackles and has earned All-WAC honors as a three year starter. The biggest drawback to him is his 220 pounds. Seems like a cover 2 LB.
The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.
I know we run a cover two, but I hate cover 2 LB’s, they’re too small to handle most good RB’s well.
