I always called him Poz...

as in the wizard of “oz”. Maybin calls him “puz” as in like “buzz”.

that’s how it’s pronounced!!! It is pronounced “puz” as it rhymes with buzz, but spelled P-O-Z or P-O-S because that’s how his name is spelled. I think that’s what lead to the ultimate confusion when he got drafted by Bufflao (and it irks me to no end!). NO ONE in State College, or PA for that matter, calls him “poz” – wizard of oz style, yet it’s taken a life of its own in western NY.

It should sound like you are saying the first part of his name when you say it.

It’s nobody’s fault, but I can’t help but to be annoyed!! Now that you know, spread the right word Matt!!
