Not long after Jason Taylor became a free agent, nearly a dozen teams started calling to express interest in the possible future Hall of Famer.
The Bills called. The Packers called. The New York Jets called. Tampa Bay is interested as is New Orleans. The New England Patriots have shown interest through owner Robert Kraft, who has been quoted as saying if Taylor wants to play for the Pats, he (Kraft) can see that happening.

i love
how this time of year, FO’s do turn over every rock. I firmly believe we need to add a veteran DL to help this team in 2009. I think the Bills would be interested in Taylor on a 1 year deal, but I doubt it would happen. This defense needs to be infused with some players on the front 7 and I don’t think a mid-round draft pick is significant enough.

id rather trade for Kampman than sign Taylor. Isn;t he like 34?
Guards Brad Butler and Brandon Rodd are decent. - Pete Prisco
Brandon Rodd!! Our best player.
Taylor will be 35 in September. Kampman will be 30 in November.

thats what i figured
Taylor is in his mid 30s. that is very old by DE standards. Not saying I wouldn’t want him. But I’d rather give up a mid-low pick and grab a guy whos 30 than a 35 year old DE

agreed – glad their kicking all the tires though.
Anyway Kenny, Yellow MegaMan is only $8.95, so maybe your mom can put it on layaway and make payments for a year or two
