YouTube Saturday: Day Two tight end options
It's Saturday at Buffalo Rumblings, which means it's time for another version of YouTube Saturday. Today, we'll look at five day two tight end prospects in this year's NFL Draft that might pique the interest of our Buffalo Bills. And only four of them were collegians last year!
James Casey (Rice), Travis Beckum (Wisconsin), Jared Cook (South Carolina), Bear Pascoe (Fresno State) and Tony Scheffler (Denver Broncos) are profiled here. As always, these haven't been screened for NSFW music, so keep the volume low just to keep it safe.
Four more videos for you after the jump.

So, any video of Bear actually catching a football?

There’s him catching like a 3-yard TD wide open in the back of the end zone, if that interests you…

Of course it was. Did anybody here know how to throw a rope before watching that? I think not…

I would have totally had my wrist in the wrong position.

Plenty of time for teaching roping when you don't teach spelling :-)

Beckum takes some good hits and still holds on to the ball.
If it wasn’t for our O-line problems, I would take him in the 3rd/4th rd without hesitation.

You still could take him in the 3rd or 4th...

If we take Pettislow in the 1st to help our new LT with blocking, it wouldn't make much sense to take Beckum as well.

I know.
LOL. When did I say we would be doing both?

Yeah, sorry
I must have gotten confused with another thread. I was assuming we were starting a rookie LT and drafting Pettigrew with the 1st rounder we get from the Peters’ trade.

OK.
Pettigrew is still my favorite prospect but I would rather go defense or replace Peters in the first round if it comes to it than draft Pettigrew.
Wait until you see my final seven round mock. Something special is brewing. :-)

No, but you can check around Mile High Report if you’d like. We generally don’t profile pro players.

Just looked don’t see much. I guess I don’t know why everybody is so high on him.
Tim Graham said yesterday the Broncos want to try and keep him, which is the opposite of what he alluded to with Peters.

Because he’s a good NFL player. He’s proven capable of producing at this level, unlike any of the other guys. Sure, he’s not the greatest of athletes, but he’s good enough in that area.

I really liked that Casey showed up against Texas (my alma mater). Who cares if a guy looks like a stud against Smooo? Continuing to make plays when getting blown out by UT speaks well to Casey’s individual desire to play.

I like Casey, he may not be as athletic as Beckum or Ingram, but I think he is much less likely to bust while still having that upside that the other mid round TEs have. At worst he is an ideal dump down option for our QB who really loves to do that.

I like Casey, Beckum and Scheffler from the videos. Casey is a very good athlete, with quality hands. He does look a bit small though, so he’d fit the Schouman/Fine mold more than anything. I’m not sure we want that…
Beckum is a good player as well, and if he can continue bulking up and improving his blocking, he could be a quality pro as well.
If we could get Scheffler for a 3rd or 4th, I’d be pretty happy….

To bad we aren’t looking at Casey to run the Wildcat offense for us. Doesn’t anybody play the position of TE in college anymore? Oh yeah, his name is Pettigrew.

My TE board is Pettigrew then Beckum then Coffman. The problem is Coffman will go in the second while Beckum will not go until the 3rd which makes it really hard to get my third option. It’s why I settled for Cornelius Ingram in my last mock.
