Good read.
I liked this comment. In remarking about how Wilson thought TO was a “feather in the cap for the Bills,” and how TO got a key to the city, Wilson said,
“I’ve never gotten one,” he said. “There were times when people wanted to give me a key out of the city.”
Classic!
I was just about to post that too.

Good to see the old man has a sense of humour about himself.

Ralph deserves a key to the city
Love him or hate him (and there’s plenty to hate him for this year) he has done so much for the city. I would like to see them present it to him at the season opener, this being the 50 year anniversary.

Where has this Jerry Sullivan been?
I have always, always liked his writing but never his content. He gets so down and negative all the time. When he is on WGR it’s like hate spewing from his mouth. I really wish I didn’t respect his writing so much because I don’t like his opinions.
All that being said, it’s great insight into Wilson. Seeing everything going on around him and losing two close friends and your daughter in a few months… I just can’t imagine. It’s also coming at the high point of your career being inducted into the HOF and celebrating your team’s 50th anniversary. It’s got to be such a hard mixture of emotions.
