Bills notes from Tim Graham's AFC East chat
On trusting OBD for not getting a new LT:
"Their coaching staff and front office have believed a lot of things. I don't think they've earned anybody's trust after nine straight years of missing the playoffs. "
On Jauron's job security:
"I think the Bills could justify bringing Jauron back at 9-7 against one of the hardest schedules in the league and in a division that includes the Patriots. "
On T.O.'s reality show viewing:
"I think I'll have to. I might have to write about it. What if he starts ripping Dick Jauron or Trent Edwards ... or the city? What if he predicts the Bills will win the Super Bowl? I'll have to monitor it. "
Ranking the 2009 AFC East:
"1. Patriots, 2. Dolphins, 3. Jets, 4. Bills. "
On Owens' year:
"I do believe Owens will have a good season. I predict he'll lead the team in catches, but Evans will lead in yards. "
On T.O. mania in Buffalo:
"I'm getting worn out by some of the Terrell Owens angles. The Associated Press went house shopping with him this week. "
On biggest rookie impact in the AFC East:
"There's such a learning curve for all of the top picks, I don't envision any of them stepping in like Jerod Mayo and making his presence felt ... Aaron Maybin will do the most good things. "
On Mike Vick:
"A knowledgeable source with the Bills laughed at me when I asked. "
On Bills training camp:
"The Bills provide the best access to the players and coaches from a media standpoint."
On 3-4 vs. 4-3 defenses:
[I would use a] 3-4 ... I think it's tougher on opposing quarterbacks (ask Trent Edwards).
On the most personable Bill:
"They are loaded with great guys: Gibran Hamdan might be at the top. Fred Jackson, Donte Whitner, Josh Reed."
He also absolutely destroys a guy who was harassing him. It's worth clicking on the link to go read the bottom.

It could just as easily been a Jets or Dolphins fan though.

Jesse (Boise, ID): With an over/under of 7, what are you taking for how long it takes the Jets fans to turn on Sanchez if he starts?
Tim Graham: 7 what? Minutes? Under.

I thought it was funny, too.
But I stuck with the Bills questions. I think Stafford sitting for a year is a good idea. Sanchez is in GQ, has nobody to take the heat off of him, and has a suspect WR corps. That kid is gonna get lost in the hype.

has a suspect WR corps
A suspect WR corps? no man, Jaxonville has a suspect WR corps, Chicago has a suspect WR corps. The Jets have one wide receiver, just the one.

lol, but they have Cotchery, and… ? the rest of their receiving corps combined doesn’t have as many games played as Cotchery has for his career. And otherwise from Cotchery’s 2007 season, none of them have ever caught for more then 1000 yards, Heck if you put the rest of their receiving corps together they haven’t even collectively caught for a 1000 yards for their careers! The Jets are in serious contention for the league’s worst passing offence.
