This off-season has been very exciting for this organization. After a few years of mediocre activity in free agent signings and the possibility of a few key departures in the staff, the bills seemed as if they were in a win now agenda.
We began this win now movement with TO, a play making machine that single handedly changed the dynamics of the offense. You could possibly add Hangartner to this list. The decision to keep the coaching primarily intact could also be considered in this group because changing out coaches often, not always, means rebuilding.
Not that I necessarily think that this has changed, but many of the decisions dealing with the offensive line have shown contrary notions. This new line is young and inexperienced with each other. Not only as a group, but several of the positions on the line are being manned by players that are inexperienced at the position they will end up playing. This O- line has loads of potential, but is it fair to expect them to mesh like a playoff contending team right out of the gates.
