Ralph was apparently a cab driver during his spare time.

I thought the same exact thing.

Interesting and ending with the circling of the wagons.

i really

enjoy and respect this decision. Berman has been a voice for Bills fans for over two decades and this day in Canton will be a great one for Bills Nation with Wilson and Bruce Smith and Ted Cottrel representing Buffalo along with Berman

Out of left field...

I think Berman will give an entertaining speech but he’s not the guy you’d first think of when guessing at who Wilson might ask. Of course, it’s not like he could ask Bill Polian…

My first thought was...

All the original 8 guys are gone like Lamar Hunt. Even Pete Rozelle is gone. Marv? Nah. I thought maybe one of his kids but nah… Tim Russert would have been a great choice but he is gone. Can he really pick a player to do it? Al Davis maybe?

I was really at a loss for who he was going to ask and I kept coming back to Marv as the only choice. This is a great pick by Ralph.

Al Davis maybe?

The problem with Davis is keeping his corpse animated long enough. And if it is a hot sunny day, forget it!

Press releasre from Berman

“Fifty years in sports, there’s only one constant: Ralph Wilson is the owner of the Buffalo Bills. What Mr. Wilson has done for pro football and for the city of Buffalo and Western New York, it’s hard to put into words. He remains in it for the same reasons he got into it in 1959: He loves the game of football, and that’s apparent in everything he does. It will be an honor to have a bird’s eye view to watch him be inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, especially this year, in the 50th year of the old American Football League. He’s a man I admire very much and I’m honored to just be there.”

We know that sportscasters are generally objective. Deep down you know the Swami is always rooting for us, right? Circle the wagons!!!

Odd selection

- You would think that he would choose someone associated with the organization, like Bill Polian, Jim Kelly, or even Bud Adams from the Foolish Club.

There's a reason Polian left ya know. :-)

Kelly would make sense I guess but do you really want a former employee inducting you? Probably not. Bud Adams makes sense because of the AFL connection but I don’t know if the two of them have ever been friends or anything.
