Video: Marshawn Lynch shreds the Jets
If there is one lesson that I have learned in two-plus years of blogging, it's this: when you don't have anything profound to say, don't say anything at all.
The well was dry last night as I sat down to pump out an article for this afternoon. Nothing immediately came to mind - it is June 8, after all. (Before y'all get scared, I have subsequently thought of a few relevant talking points; you'll see the first of those tomorrow afternoon after Eric's Trivia.) So rather than bore you stupid with some half-arsed article that likely wouldn't have made much sense or been terribly worthwhile, let's instead watch Marshawn Lynch tear up the Jets. That should be more fun for y'all even when I'm on my 'A' game, after all.
(Note: Just like with every worthwhile highlight video found on YouTube, song lyrics are NSFW.)

That 35 yarder was a thing of beauty. That’s something we really need to see more of, and something I thought we would have seen more of already. When he makes a quick cut and just gets up field, he’s so much better. Once he hits that second, he’s so tough to bring down because he’s so slippery and tough to get a clean hit on. I really hope we see more highlights like this this season.

Haha, I love how they showed that run like 18 times

one thing I noticed about that run was the number of Lineman who were down the field on that run......
Including one Jason Peters……continuing to block……that was nice to see

Agreed. I forgot about that run. Might that have been one of his best runs of the year? Gotta be top five.
I hate these videos. Just when I get close at times to accepting that he might probably will do something dumb and get into more trouble and lose more time, I see a highlight reel like this that reminds me of how flipping awesome he is as a RB.
Thanks BG….thanks alot.
This would be the best run all year for a lot of running backs
The fact that a run that awesome can be discussed among four others he broke last year should make us thankful for what we have. We’re going to miss Lynch when he’s gone if he messes stuff up.

That song is one of the most annoying songs ever. Watching ML’s college highlights will make you OD on that song.
BTW, editors who pull a post off the sight due to language, don’t listen to the lyrics on the video…
Sweet home Orchard Park.
Yeah, my bad – I ALWAYS forget to put a “listen on mute” warning, probably because I never listen to the music on highlight videos. It’s always terrible.

Anyone think......
he is putting on the 15 pounds due to the fact that he may not see many holes this year with our inexperienced line?
Correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure I can count on one hand how many times he got past the line untouched.
Why would someone get fatter to squeeze through smaller holes?

Wow u are hilarious. He is not a mouse. The majority of his yards have been hard yards, or yards after being touched. My guess is that he is adding the weight to break more inside tackles, fall forward more often and turn that 1 yard run into a 3 yard run.
You must be one of those silly fans that think or untalented/inexperienced line is going to magically gel and develop consistent holes huh? Or were you just being a wise?
Yeah, probably should have added the famous “:)” at the end that signifies me just pulling your chain. You’re a little feisty today, Pat.

Interesting...
Why does it seem like every position has had someone get arrested except for offensive linemen (I’m not counting punters and kickers)?
?
What TE, DT, LB and CB were arrested?!?

right – it’s only rb,fb (if you count that), s and wr. so only 3 positions really….

I was talking about around the league (although it seems like the Bills are becoming the Bengals)
LB- Vilma (reckless driving resisting arrest) and Leroy “can I get another hit” Hill
TE – Jonathan Dekker – obstruction of justice
DT – Jamal Williams DUI
But I can’t find a single Offensive Lineman!
Yeah but Jeff Reed’s has always been a bad boy. He even admited to Maxim magasin that he’s sent naked pictures of himself to female fans. I mean criminal mischief, that’s nothing for him!

That boy can burts through some holes
I hope he does not screw up again, he really is the RB we have been waiting for. Now we just need to establish a franchise QB (i hope it is Trent).
"Hold ya chin up...nuh nuh nuh...gone"
-Marshawn Lynch-
not to rehash that play call at the end of the game...
but Lynch and Jackson were killing it, moving the pile all day, and so that screen pass call that led to the fumble and loss had no business being called.
sorry.
it is June 8, after all.
That’s all? Football season is never gonna get here…
