Batch: 100% chance of a lockout
Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch told rookies at the symposium this week there is a "100% chance" that owners will lock out players.
Meanwhile NFL.com's Adam Schefter is reporting that the two sides will get down to business beginning next week after the holiday weekend.

Why Batch?
does he have some sort of info that we don’t know of? is he on a committee or the NFLPA or something?
or is this just him saying what he thinks will happen?
I am so clever that sometimes I don’t understand a single word of what I am saying

Batch is the players rep for the Steelers.
BTW – the new Bills player rep will probably be George Wilson. It was Robert Royal.

Wilson was the alternate for the 2008-2010 term
And so with Royal gone Wilson will be going instead. I think Royal does get to keep his spot though.

What will happen when/if Wilson gets cut after the preseason?!?! Hopefully, Marshawn can take over the Bills’ player rep role.

Nice...
I have no idea what will happen. Send the NFLPA an email. :-) I emailed Chris Brown. We’ll see if I get a response.
