QB of Sin City -- JP Losman
"Losman is still an interesting player with a lot of ability.
He struggled with inconsistency in Buffalo but also had to work magic behind a shady offensive line, and—outside of Lee Evans—he never really had many weapons at his disposal.
The UFL will be his stage to show the NFL what they're missing out on."

There is one regret
Hung on to him for too long. In hind sight , three 7-9 seasons, extreme inconsistant play. The fact we drafted a him in the first round and now he is gone and we didn’t even get a 5th or 6th round pick for him. Rumor had it that Jim Haslett would be our head coach but didn’t want any part of J.P. Not sure of all the details but one thing is for sure, he wasn’t very accurate, and he had more opportunity than most QB’s in the league. I wish him well, but wish we could of got something for him.

Yes, we definitely had some debates on Rumblings about that topic – getting something for JP while it was still possible. The argument against it was that he was the best backup we could have – turned out it didn’t matter (he didn’t win a game all last season, did he?). I had been in favor of trading him. Looks like we definitely should have.
For similar reasons (though the situation was different in several ways), I was all for trading Jason Peters. Glad we got something substantial for him. Hope it truly works out as well as it looks like it did at the moment. Won’t know for sure until later.

wait, let me get this straight. a very physically talented player who struggled with his work ethic and partying while in BUFFALO, of all cities, EVEN IN HIS CONTRACT YEAR, is going to Vegas and expects to be a standout? seriously?

If he partied too much for Buffalo, then he might become Legendary while living in Vegas!… 5$ says that he misses the start of one of his games because he’s past out on the Vegas strip!

not cut out
Whoever was qouted there needs to lay of the sauce. Yes his arm is unreal but its more about what’s between the ears. Constand telegraphing passes and cross field throws like his blind cross fiels pass against the jags are suicide in the nfl. What an extreme waste of a pick and time. I’d seriously take ron johnson over him.

that dude had a point, though. a horrid OL and pretty much nothing else except for evans doesn’t exactly make for an easy starting year. don’t get me wrong – he sucked while he was here. but he didn’t exactly have a silver platter, either.
