Didn’t Lankster get 4 years $2.5M? How does this work?

"As the governor of Louisiana once said, the only way Chris Kelsay can lose his job is if he got caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
perhaps
FO based it on the Volunteer excerises and mini-camp? They did seem to be quite impressed with Lankster. Or…maybe Harris just doesn’t have a good agent.
Yeah, Lankster probably didn’t get that guaranteed 100K signing bonus. If I’m Cary Harris and I’m looking at the Bills depth chart then a signing bonus is way more important than salary. If he doesn’t make the 53 man roster out of training camp then that contract is gone and he’s making whatever practice squaders make and is stuck being an ERFA for a couple offseasons.
That is true
Guarantees are gold in the NFL.

Not bad money for a 6th rounder if he does make the roster.
I might be able to squeeze by on $1.9 mil.
