Sweet.
I am finishing up the write-up of 89-93 and this is great stuff.

How great is that last play? Do you think Levy’s excited? The announcer called him Rich-ter…not Rik-ter. I love that. Good memories.

I hope you’re saying that the announcer said Ritcher’s name correctly, because he did.

Yep, it was Ritcher, not Richter.

Exactly...
I was saying he pronounced it incorrectly.

No, he said it right. His name wasn’t pronounced “Rik-ter,” because the t comes before the ch. Ritch – er , as if there were no “t” in the word: “Rich – er”

Another good player
Remember the special straps attached to the back of his helmet? Kept his head up while he was blocking. Had never seen that before or since Ritcher retired.
Get the Bills back to the big game!
My favorite part of this video is when marino walks off the field all sulky like a little baby. Classic.

Oh man
This was the first game that I remember watching. No wonder I was hooked for life.
Just inside the 3 and here comes kelly...
hes gonna take it and hes gonna score! What a play by Jim Kelly!
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
I think the 3500+ yards and 22 TDs in his first season here helped… Remember he was greeted as a hero when he arrived from the USFL in 1986.

I love me some vintage Jim kelly
He’s the reason I’m a fan of this franchise. Really he’s the reason I love football.
Bills make me wanna SHOUT!

That was a great game
All the drama you could want in a football game, with a super ending!
I remember watching that one. I was afraid Jimbo was going to be stopped right before he crossed the goal line (he wasn’t the fastest QB ever), but I was pleasantly surprised. Huge sigh of relief combined with euphoria over last-second win. Big time gutsy call (thank God, he made it!). Schula & Marino go down in flames again, gotta love it!
Get the Bills back to the big game!
Everytime Buffalo played Miami in the playoffs, they always won. I still remember the beat downs the Bills handed Miami and Marino at rich stadium, esp. the one where Buffalo broke the playoff record of total rushing yards against Miami. Both Davis and Thomas where over 100 yards in that game.
Are we drafting Dino's now?
