T.O. should, I repeat should, be happy in Buffalo this season — at least in this offense and opposite home-run hitter Lee Evans. Why? Because there's no tight end rooming with his QB talented enough to get in Owens' way of catching eight balls per game. T.O. should be the one moving the chains for Trent Edwards, which means if Owens doesn't drop the ball too much the Bills should be potent. Adding T.O. moves Josh Reed and Roscoe Parrish down a notch each to more suitable spots on the depth chart. Sure, in a normal world Edwards could use a tight end aerial outlet ... but don't make T.O. angry, you wouldn't like him if he's angry.
That's a bit generous if you ask me....I'd put Denver, Green Bay and potentially Houston ahead of the Bills, but it'd be pretty close.

I'll take 130
but seriously, does he think we’re the 3rd best in the league. Edwards better step up if that is even a realistic assessment.
The Bills CAN win any game
Edwards better step
Can’t step up if he is running for his life. I know….chicken and the egg :-)
The key to the Bills 2009 season; Can Trent Edwards grow beyond just not being Loseman
I'm not as worried about that as most
I like the line, and I like the culture of the team.

I like them too, but you have to expect some growing pains
With not one starter playing the same position as last season and the possibility of 2 rookies starting, the O-line has a lot of work ahead of it before it’s pass blocking is up to snuff. Feed the Beast …… when he gets back from suspension I guess………. help FredEx deliver.

They'll either be good or not
We’ve had consistency the past few years, and we were still average. What we needed, and the staff figured it out, that our line has to be better in specific areas; mainly, up the middle. I am not convinced yet, but I am more optimistic about the O-line than I am about say, our pass rush

I disagree
They’ll either be good or not
Why take that stance? Isn’t it more likely they we be good later rather than sooner? The big question is will it be soon enough? And, I also applaud the FO for what they did with the O-line. It is probably the smartest thing they have done in the past 3 years. It just might take some time for it to plan out. I am not sure they have the time to wait for it to happen.

Denver? Green Bay? Houston?
None of those teams have two number one receivers and Denver potentially might not even have any soon. No way I would rank them ahead of the Bills looking at WR only. I don’t think Scheffler, Lee or Daniels are good enough to change my view. I think people are sometimes a little too careful not to look like homers that they can’t relish in a deserved high ranking.
I take that back, maybe I will give you Houston cause I do like Walter and Andre is the best, but definitely not Denver.
don’t discount Denver…….. Remember there head coach was NE’s offensive coordinator and Denver has better receiver talent and depth then Buffalo currently does. And if you throw in the fact that Buffalo has a much better running game then Denver does, it puts the question at who will throw the ball more, Denver or Buffalo?
Are we drafting Dino's now?

Bryant Johnson is one of the best young receivers in football
I can’t believe anyone didn’t catch this. I really hope he meant to say Calvin.

Descent list.
I’d have us 3rd as well, But I’d have Denver at #2 instead of NE. The Pats just don’t have the same quality depth at WR that we do IMO. And I also think that outside of western NY and south eastern Ontario not many ppl have herd enough about Steve Johnson, and therefore haven’t put much stock in him. But they’ll know about him after this year.

Steve Johnson has what, 10 career catches and was a 7th round pick last year?
Why should anyone know about him and put stock in him? Why should we even? I love his potential, but he hasn’t proven anything substantial yet…

"As the governor of Louisiana once said, the only way Chris Kelsay can lose his job is if he got caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
Joey Galloway, Greg Lewis and Brandon Tate is pretty solid. Maybe not Reed, Johnson, Hardy, Parrish solid, but I think it’s a good enough group that they should be ranked ahead of Buffalo. Ben Watson, Alex Smith, Chris Baker and David Thomas is a very, very deep group of TEs too. None of them are all that good, but it should be a fairly productive group.
And I finally read the whole list and explanations and I was actually going to post that depth always gets overrated in rankings like this one. Forget that Houston has a solid red zone threat in Kevin Walter and a really good TE in Owen Daniels, Andre Johnson is so absurdly talented that I would take him and any mediocre group of players over 70% of the rest of the league. So when you factor in Walter, Daniels, a couple rookie TEs, Jacoby Jones and whoever else they have, I’d definitely rank them ahead of Buffalo.
I thought Detroit should have been higher too. Calvin Johnson is so dominating that it hardly matters who else they have. I’d put them in the top half of the league. 4 good WRs, but nobody great only works when Drew Brees is the QB.
parrish trade
should we trade parrish because he would have no place to fit here in buffalo no more
GO BUFFALO
