Around SBN: Ellenberger vs. Sanchez Heats Up, Hughes Talks Retirement

I’ll say right now I’d be surprised if it’s used more than half of the offensive snaps this season. I think we’re looking at a 50-50 split at best. Jauron values time of possession and the run game and who wouldn’t with the stable of backs the Bills now have.

I'd be surprised if we ran it a quarter of the time. Going no-huddle half the time seems like a little much, especially with a mediocre defense.

You got me..

At first, I thought that was part of the Chris Brown quote. I thought…..man…..Brown is going to get pantsed or tied to the goal post by the defense. Imagine how disappointed I was when I realized it was you K. I am sure Kelsay already has the defense after you :-)

Since I don’t get to do it very often, I just wanted to say I agree with Jauron :-)

The Prayer of Pass Rush - Hail Maybin, blessed with a quick first step, Bruce is with thee; most reverenced art thou among DEs in the AFC, and blessed be the fruit of thy pass rush. Holy Lord, Father of the swim move, we pray for our QB hurries to be numerous and our sacks to be plentiful. Be with us in Victory and at the hour of our Defeat. Amen.

I just wish they wouldn’t warn everyone it was coming.

The thing about the no-huddle is it won't matter.

It’s not like you can knock a team out of doing the no-huddle. The beauty of the no huddle is you get to dictate the pace. As an O Line once the ball is thrown you can stop blocking or if the running back breaks one you don’t have to chase him. The D Line guys are supposed to turn and pursue no matter what. That’s what tires them out. As an OL you just have to get to the spot of the ball.

unless that RB is Barry Sanders! Man I miss watching him run.
