Report: Bills agree to terms with OG Wood; Byrd close
NFL.com reporter Jason La Canfora reports via Twitter that Buffalo Bills rookie guard Eric Wood is expected to sign his rookie contract either tonight or tomorrow. La Canfora originally reported that it was a five-year deal - in all likelihood, that's what it'll end up being - but has since pulled that bit of information.
La Canfora also tweets that the Bills are close to reaching a deal with second-round pick S Jairus Byrd.
With Wood likely to sign either tonight or tomorrow, and Byrd seemingly close to follow, the lone rookie holdout that will remain once those two deals are done will be No. 11 overall pick DE Aaron Maybin.

I still don’t know why this whole process takes so long.
No night spent pantsless is a wasted night.
if you've ever worked for a govt agency you'd understand..........
well…..I mean you’d understand that certain things that shouldnt take as long as they do could really be done quickly……but people are lazy.

Agent sh!te and maybe the Bills wanted him for a longer contract at a certain price. Gotta work out the kinks. It was probably the agent’s fault though.

Woo hoo!!!!
Days don’t get much better: go on a date with an attractive and charming lady (who obviously has questionable judgement and/or a visual impairment) and come home to find that the Bills have finally signed a man who will hopefully be a stud interior lineman for the next decade.
I don’t know who to feel better for: Wood or Ron? Ron or Wood?

Just pity the poor lady.
I feel better for the Bills as this makes it more likely that Wood will take over the starting gig sooner rather than later.
He’s still in camp before every other rookie besides all of the Browns’…

PFT was just making a joke about making jokes about Wood’s name. I could say you beat them to it…but that might be in bad taste.
nice hard stance you decided to take there Ron.

Very good news
Wood looks like a great person and great player as well, I think he will be a force in this OL for long time.
Byrd has to sign, all the parameters from other picks are set, he and the team must sign anytime soon, he can’t miss more practices.
Plus have your seen his face?
Those cheeks are a grandmothers DREAM!

Contrary to a report from NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora, a source with knowledge of the situation tells us that the Bills and center Eric Wood have not yet technically agreed to terms.

Not yet “technically”?
What kind of sticking point could there be that would require the use of the word “technically”? They haven’t spit on their hands and shaken yet? They agreed, but Ralph went to bed 6 hours ago so they’re really not sure if they have the money yet?
