My deepest condolences to his family. This is a sad loss for any football fan.
I just read this on TSN.ca. Needless to say I was shocked. It just alarms me how many NFL players have been attacked and/or killed in the last few years; the Bronco’s two DB’s (dead), Sean Taylor (dead), Javon Walker (beaten into a coma), the Jag’s guard (paralized and lost a leg), and now McNabb murdered. Not only are those shocking, but it seems that this is only happening to NFL players. I’m just wondering what the he** is going on.

Correction:
McNair, and found dead. I’m not sure all the facts have been presented yet. Sad day for his family and fans of football.

Eddie George Stated it wasn't for the money
George was quoted as saying that McNair would spend most of the week in the trianing room to get physically ready to play on sunday. That anyone that had to go through what he went through week to week didn’t play for the money, he played for his team mates and the love of the game.

From what PFT is saying it looks like a murder-suicide with his girlfriend. He was shot multiple times. She had a single gunshot wound to the head and the gun was right next to her body. His wife and their kid were in Mississippi.

It is indeed MRW, the stuff coming out makes this look really really poor for him
McNair with multiple gun shots to him, one shot to the girl, in the head, with the weapon found near her body, sounds like a murder suicide happened as you said MRW. And its going to be an even more sordid thing too as more facts come out.She is now being listed as his “companion” and he is still married? And they were spening a lot of time together according to many witnesses. It sounds very sadly like he was fooling around, may have told her he was breaking it off and that was it, he got shot for it.
Anyway you slice it though, its a very very sad thing to see happen…

According to local authorities there also had a Cadilac Escalade that was registered under both McNair and the women found at the scene. That Escalade was found parked outside the crime scene.
