Wood Looks Solid and So Does Harris!
While watching the whole Bills game the other night I was highly impressed by two Rookies. First, Wood dominated the front line. The guy is an animal. I saw him pancake at least two guys while specifically focusing on watching the right guard spot. I really think he looks like he could be on his way to the pro bowl very shortly and we got our money worth for this pick. I know its early but I am excited for this guy and love the mentality he brings to the game. The second player I was impressed by was Nic Harris. They guy was always in the right position and made some nice plays. I don't see why this guy can't make a push into the starting spot over Ellison. If not this year, I will guess this guy will start next year. We saw a little of Nelson and would have liked to see more of him. I saw this guy at camp and he is huge. If Hardy is 6 foot 5, this guy is like 6 foot 8. I wish the Bills got him involved more. I saw him in the slot on goaline and liked that. We need to take advantage of these big players in the red zone and toss it up to them when they are in 1-1 coverage. Levitre I thought played well minus the play he got pushed back into Trent. Let me know if you guys were also impressed. If I were to put a grade on the rookies that I was paying close attention to I would give out:
Wood- A- (a down right force)
Levitre- B (solid and pretty impressed for his first start)
Nelson- C+ (didn't see too much of him)
Harris- B+ (our future outside backer)
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Wood will be strong all year if healthy.
I would like to see Harris take the position just because I feel someone has to be better than Ellison. I also do not want to see him start unless he has earned it, it may take a year. Ellison is good but not great.

I've gotta say that Harris impressed me the most.
Wood did impress me a lot, but I was expecting the strong play that we saw from him. Harris impressed me the most, mostly because I was surprised at how good he looked.
Harris was insanely fast for an OLB and was always quick to the ball, whether it was on a pass play or a run play. This kid is going to be a stud for us!

Wood looked like an absolute stud when i focused in on him on the rewatch
levitre also had a better game than most give him credit for….both he and wood got beaten badly on one play…
also both play to the whistle…levitre was consistently getting that one last shove in on the whistle…
the best block of the night though was wood taking a d-lineman ten yards down field before pancaking him in the 2nd quarter
