Chris Brown's Training Camp Awards
Most improved defensive player – Chris Ellis – As camp wore on Ellis’ confidence grew with the pinnacle coming in the Bears preseason game when he had a sack and forced fumble as well as a fumble recovery. Ellis has taken a big step forward from year one to year two.
Looks like he still thinks Copeland Bryan's sack against Chicago was Ellis'...

This is his job right?
The one about Parish was interesting, I wish there was a way to use him more. I know they have tried; it would be tough to see him on another team.

High praise for Bell
By next year, I think we will see an O-line that looks like Bell – Levitre – Wood – Butler – Walker.
I think they’d release Walker before they moved Butler. Seriously.

Obviously in my little prediction, Hang gets beat out at Center by Wood
So, who plays RG if Butler is at RT? Another stud 1st/2nd round pick I hope.
What can we do for you Mabin? You want us to say it with you… "Show me the money!!!!!!......WE LOVE THE BLACK MAN!!!!!......SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!" Now, will you please get a new agent and sign the contract!
Walker has a big contract, If the Bills think that Bell/Butler is as good or better then Walker/Butler then Langston is a goner.
No weekend spent pantsless is a wasted weekend.
so does Hang play RG?

Presumably in this scenario...
But I don’t think they would flop Hang and Wood if both were on the team.

Agreed, which is why my first choice was the new stud rookie.

Pass Protection
IMO Parrish’s role as a WR has been hampered by our lack of pass protection. Evans speed and hands make him a great #1 WR, Reeds route running and hands make him a great #3 WR. Parrish’s mobility with the ball in his hands makes him scary. We just haven’t found a way to get the ball into his hands in the past few years. I blame the pass protection for this. Plus I have to throw the size thing in there as well. It is not so much that Roscoe is 5’9" as it is the fact between Evans, Reed and Parrish none of which are bigger than 5’10". This doesn’t help.
Evans is our deep threat, Reed is our possession guy. How do you get Rosco involved unless you got the time to let him set up his defender.
Parrish can’t do anything in tight spaces, which is why he’s been a poor slot receiver. He is best when he has open space and the ability to juke around. He can do that returning punts, but he can’t do much of that catching passes over the middle. I think he could be used on deeper routes more, but to say his production as a WR has been hampered by pass protection is a little far fetched, IMO.

"As the governor of Louisiana once said, the only way Chris Kelsay can lose his job is if he got caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
This is why if Parrish has to hit the field, I’d rather see him as a #2 than as the slot receiver.
