Apparently Byron Leftwich is available for trade. I wanted us to get this guy instead of Fitz.

Even though Fitz has looked better through out  pre-season, Byron is a legit QB and could teach Trent a thing or two aside from how to scramble.

I love Trent but he still needs work. Not only does he need to develop, but he needs to make it through the entire season. If he goes down I do not want to throw away another season that they have worked hard for and done so many things in attempt for a new beginning ( no-huddle, T.O).

It would also be a waist to make a signing like T.O and have only Fitz to throw it to him.

The only real competition Trent has ever had was J.P......

There is no estimating the benefit of having a Vet working with you.

Not to mention that Byron is good enough to be are starter, not that this would happen because he would be new to the system and to the no-huddle, but he could learn.

Just some thoughts.
