Turk on Hot Seat
Was hoping he was gone in the offseason, but maybe he'll be gone soon enough. Easier to replace him than DJ or Trent at this point, not that I'm advocating either.

Hope it happens soon!!!! Then we have to find someone who knows how to defend against a pass. Any team can send in their first, second or third string QB and complete just about any pass they want to. And, one more game like the last three for Trent and I think the Bills should start looking around for another QB until the draft next year. Playing like he should be the 3rd string.

And firing him would be go for this particular team's current season how?
They’ve nearly exclusively run the no-huddle. The team would have to promote within or find a coach who knew how to run it. News flash: Jim Kelly isn’t going to take up coaching this team, in any fashion. I see no way the team could re-learn a new offensive system and expect to win many games as a result this year.

Hm… could Eric Studesville coordinate a successful offense?

It’s not like Jauron would be calling the plays. Who would they give the duties to other than Studesville? Van Pelt? Man I don’t know about this.

I’m about 75% sure it’d be Studesville. Not many people are aware that he’s already the running game coordinator.

So Brian, are you trying to throw gas on this fire?

I’d imagine he’s realistically pondering whether Studesville would be up for the challenge. I say it’s a bad move, if done in-season and resulting in a change of offense.

Not to be totally ignorant, but who’s Eric Studsville?

he’s already the running game coordinator.
Not exactly something to write home about

Because of the O-line…
If those guys could get any push, it’d be a different story.

Studesville is a very well respected RB’s-coordinator, so he would be the obvious and incumbent choice. I wouldn’t exactly be comfortable with Alex Van Pelt or Tyke Tolbert calling the plays, as neither have any experience in that context. We’ll see what happens, but I’m still hoping and praying that our offense in some miraculous way does everything much better, when the season begins, but I must admit that a feeling of utter frustration is growing in me.

Where was this in January when it was needed? Now it would be an even bigger distraction to a lineup that doesn’t need that.

Why in the heck are the Bills brass not looking into Shannahan or a coach that actually has a good track record. Mike is an established offensive mind who actually has a blue print of how to win. Dicky j is still trying to figure it out. We on the other hand still shell out cash to watch this mess and embarassment of a team. This is looking less like football and more like a reality TV show appropreately names "Trent’s public regression. I don’t see even 1 Buffalo Bills supporter being upset if they brought in a whole new coaching staff right now, if it is a Shannahan comparable group.

I would be upset if they brought in a new coaching staff right now. After the season we can talk but right now?
If you have a problem shelling out the cash, BTW, you’re not required to buy tickets or merchandise.

Because tomorrow is September 1st, not February 1st….No matter how much anyone believes a new coaching staff is needed, you simply can’t do it now….
