Jerry Sullivan thinks something is up too...
Looks like I am not the only crazy person who thinks the Bills are being very secretive. Now a closed practice? Hmmm...either they're canning the no-huddle or they have something else in store.

They always close practices two weeks before the season starts…
Buffalo Rumblings. On Twitter.

the no-huddle is here to stay
atleast this season

You could make a good arguement here.
1.) T.O. being out with a sore toe for everything except up to the H.O.F. game.
2.) Aaron Maybin not joining the team until after camp folds and moves back to OBD.
3.) The putrid performance by the Offense, mainly the check down pass plays at a 9 – 1 clip.
4.) Scuba Steve returning from injury only to back up Josh Reed and Roscoe Parrish. This guy was close to being ready to step in at a moments notice, I thought.
5.) Talk of switching Walker out at LT? We all figured mid season at best.
6.) Practicing against the 3-4 defense or not.
7.) Rumors about Schonert being on the hotest seat of all the hot seats.
I can say that I can’t remember the last time we have ever been so deceptive. If that’s the case. But then we are dealing with a young and talented team coached by a group of men with their backs firmly against the wall, waiting for the order. FIRE!!!!!!!
Pretty bizzare isn’t it.
I don't neccesarily agree with your conclusion...
But I do think you do a great job summarizing what has been a fairly eventful (bizarre?) post-season. If nothing else, this is going to be an exciting first couple of weeks of the season. Part football team, part soap opera.

I think that too
Glad someone at least semi-agrees with me. You boys are brutal. HAHA
Wearing my Bills jersey to the Eagles-Bills game in Philly probably wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done. But then again, that's why they call me die-hard.

Secrecy is one thing
But the idea that a professional team and a coaching staff with jobs on the line would intentionally hold players such as Owens and Maybin out or intentionally put up bad performances to surprise a week 1 opponent is beyond silly.
your right it is
But this is what we as bills fans do, we try to see something positive in everything.
Ill hold my opinion on this team until after we play some games, but it would be nice to see them come out Monday night and look good. I would be ok with a lose as long as they are not embarrassing

This may start a wild fire, but here it is:
I was born and live 21 years in Buffalo. It’s my home and I love it.
I’ve lived in over half the States in the union, and have had daily interaction with people from around the country for the past ten years.
Buffalo natives, in general, are among the most negative people around.
Guess it comes with the area and circumstances.
Well i was more referring to their team
not so much a overall outlook of life

Historically, the economic landscape has alot to do with a regions or cities emotional moral
But I would say for Buffalo the team has been and hopefully will continue to be something that we see in a different light. Even in the darkest of times, the Buffalo Bills have been a bright spot, winning or losing.

It’s totally due to the economic landscape. Add to that the SB loses and Cup loses, and you get a very negative outlook on a great, great franchise, regardless of what they do.
That’s what I’m doing.
Wearing my Bills jersey to the Eagles-Bills game in Philly probably wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done. But then again, that's why they call me die-hard.

I'd love to know who originally said this:
One joker wondered if the coaches had taken the first-team offense on a field trip to the end zone.
It’s tremendously funny and sad all at once.

The Dolphins went to see GI Joe the other day. Maybe the Bills had a screening of District 9. LOL

They probably saw The Time Traveler’s Wife

Which
I really want to see, by the way. I know, it’s girly. But I also saw Public Enemies which was amazing.

Jerry Sullivan is a dweeb.
He’s “Mr. Skyisfalling.”
Every now and again, he proclaims things that come true, and rides it until the cows come home (Bills collapse last season being notable).
Most of what he says is negative on purpose to ire and attention (me included).
There’s a reason why Sullivan is still in Buffalo while other notable WNY reporters have gone onto bigger and better things. In general, he attracts attention to non-stories.
And above all things, he knows squat about football.
(Off soapbox)
