Reggie Corner and Shawn Nelson better be ready. I have more faith in Corner than Nelson.
Playing Realistic Optimist at Buffalo Rumblings since 2008. Ignoring the grumblings on Rumblings.
Corner is a player I have total faith in, as he always seems to make plays and plays much bigger than his 183 pounds indicate. I believe he’ll do just fine, as Florence is still out with that injury he suffered 25 days ago. Shawn Nelson is a different story, as he – in spite of his indisputable effort – still lacks quite a bit as a blocker. As a pass-catcher, he’s by far our best (at least among our TE’s) and will evolve into a great one with time. It’s good that Spencer is healthy, as he’s a good backup DT, who along with McCargo will give Marcus and Kyle some much-needed breathers during games.
My approach to the Monday Night game against the Pats is a mixture of great hope and fear of let-down (as Dick Jauron-led teams usually do). This needs to be a year of playoffs, because otherwise our coaching staff (with the exception of April) will be gone along with their ‘play-not-to-lose’-strategy.
Hopefully, the Lord will answer our prayers and the Bills will finally return to the promised land. Time’ll tell…
