Jonny Flynn on Tom Brady

I'm a big-time SU hoops fan. Naturally, I was a big fan of Jonny Flynn's, and that's not going to change very soon.

He might now be my favorite person, period.

I didn’t think I was capable of liking Flynn any more than I already did. SU basketball has a little while before it gets going again and I already miss Jonny.

I'm so pumped...

I get huuuuuge discount on student season tickets for football (ugh) and basketball (woooo!!!) for being a grad student here.

I’ve never sat in a student section before having only seen crappy division III sports at my undergrad school (Brian, you obviously know all about this.).

I’m so excited for both seasons. I have my Greg Paulus shirt ready to go….begrudgingly might I add.

Loved watching Jonny past two years, will miss him

But I think this year’s team could sneak up on people. I think Triche will be solid, and our frontcourt is experienced.

Still, nobody can ever take away the feeling of SU winning a national championship my senior year there. Marshall street was insane. There was a naked guy in a tree! One of the craziest nights of my life.

God I hope I can see the Bills win one….

It was my junior year and we drove down to the Superdome and had nose bleed seats to watch them bring home the title. Greatest moment ever!

I can’t imagine how Marshall Street was at that time. Some of the pictures I saw were nuts.

I envy you going to the Superdome

Guys in my fraternity rented a motorhome and went down, but I just didn’t have the cash at the time. Those are some priceless memories though man.

I was bartending at Konrads (previously 44’s, both gone now prob) about a week after the win and the entire team came in and came behind the bar and served drinks for awhile. It was nuts…Melo was drinking his “Henny and Cokes” and serving people. classic.

Ah, good times! I always tell people about that magical NCAA run. It’s nice to know I got a fellow SU Alumn on the Rumblings board!

I have friends that go to UNC and I’m a lifelong Heels fan, so I went down there to campus to watch the National Championship game in the Dean Dome with everyone.

Partying on Franklin Street afterwards was amazing, also one of the craziest nights of my life.

Now, going to Syracuse, I can’t imagine what kind of stuff was going on on Marshall that night, haha.

You were lucky to have been there, I’m sure.

I have season tickets to the Timberwolves. (i know they suck but I love basketball). I can’t wait to see this kid play. Love his passion and energy and think he is going to be an all-star in a few years

I love Flynn, a bunch of my friends in high school got to play against him when he was at Niagara – I’ve never heard a bad thing about the kid. This is just icing on the cake.
