This is very interesting. I mean if you include Freeman and Meredith into the Bills 2009 draft I think we all would love it.

plus

these are two guys we were able to watch first hand in the pre-season and determine that they fit our scheme and mentality. Seem to be good depth pick ups. I’d rather have young and athletic as it has proved better for us on the LB corps and the O-Line…so far anyway

Jauron’s nuts must have dropped this year….Go Bills!

Nope… He is strictly an OLB… And a good one at that… I was hoping they would draft this guy. Loved him in college. A ball hawk with good speed and cover skills. Very good intuitive player.

Yeah, I think this is awesome...

IMO, not only is DJ coaching for his job, he is getting some quality players from other teams without having to give anything up which will help the next coach regardless of who it is…

Just a goofy side note...

I have Meredith on my Bills team in Madden, he is one of the highest rated pass blockers (both in strength and footwork) on the game…

Yeah, but do they have Freddy being able to rip apart defenses in Madden?

I was born in Buffalo, and NO, it's not a suburb of New York City

I remember on draft day that he was the popular choice of many from the 5th round on.

He was a guy a lot of people wanted to draft.

Bowen becomes my first ex-Bill signature other than guys who retired for Buffalo.

He handed me a glove in camp. I didn’t even ask for it. I wish him well, and thought he was someone who’d make the team this season.

Freeman was great at Ohio State…I definitely wanted the Bills to pick him up in the draft while he was still available. Him and Nic Harris should be quality young talent at the LB position.
