High ankle isn’t a good thing to hear. Byrd can replace one of those guys but not both.
Hopefully Bell is limited tomorrow and full go Friday at least. Same with Williams and McCargo.
No Hangman on the injury list? The way he snapped I thought for sure he was hurt.

high ankle is much worse, yes.

Seriously. Walker has to be laughing just a tiny bit right now. Just a tiny bit, though i’m sure the footnote of *unemployed stops his laughter pretty quickly.

He wasn’t laughing in the pre-season finale to Detroit, when, as Buffalo ran its offense, he resorted to wounded rhino breathing to keep up with his teammates.

Do you think Walker’s still on this team if the no-huddle isn’t their main focus? I mean in a general capacity, not as a LT. He clearly stunk there.

There’s certainly a better chance that he’s on the roster if we aren’t running the no-huddle, but as I reported back in early September, they cut him because of a perceived complete regression in his abilities as a tackle.

so buy the man a f@#$ing treadmill and get him into shape!!!!
Poor ball security leads to very painful outcomes
ouch
We won’t even have enough healthy guys to dress!!
Looks like the whole D on there….if most of those guys don’t play, I’m not sure how we’re going to stop the Fins ground game.
Scott at LT? Oye vey!!! What a mess

well mostly DB’s – since we draft 3 of them a year we should be fine…. right?

remember in the preseason,
when we said the difference this year is that we had depth at linebacker, cornerback and safety? I didn’t really figure we’d actually want to find out if that was true…
Man
if we didn’t have so many injuries i’d say this game was a lock. I’m more concerned about the o-line than I am the secondary. We should have good depth there – especially against Henne.
How did McCargo get hurt? Does he even dress?? Or was he pushing a fat chick out of the way of a deep fried oreo?

Injury or not, I bet she can take him.

from pre season reports, i had renewed hope for mc cargo this year. seems that is drifting away. do he and youbouty room together?
somebody needs to get well in a hurry. we can’t play this game with 2 healthy d-tackles. i suppose they can shift denney inside as has been done before, but…..

Scott at LT
scares the beejesurs out of me. They got to persevere. This is a game that Trent, Lee, T.O., Marshawn and Freddy just need to say “screw it, we are winning today.” They need to carry us on Sunday and STEP the ? UP! This is a MUST WIN game for this organization on Sunday

I don’t know. Few teams have been as dinged up as the Bears over the last couple of seasons.
I signed up for Second Life about a year ago. Back then my life was so great that I literally wanted a second one. In my Second Life I was also a paper salesman and I was also named Dwight. Absolutely everything was the same. Except I could fly. - Dwight Schrute
But how dinged up were the Bills with Rusty Jones?
And, he was the trainer for the real Hansen brothers. What’s cooler than that? : )

Nic Harris was moved to safety to combat all the injuries at the position.

Sounds good on paper, Harris in the box, Byrd in center field. But if we play 2 rookie safties, even Ted Ginn will expose that.
by LeClaireBill on Sep 30, 2009 5:29 PM EDT up reply actions
I disagree
Ginn will be working against a healthy McGee or a healthy Florance. Ginn is fast but doesn’t go over the middle, hears footsteps, and doesn’t make clutch catches.
I’ve likely jinxed the whole thing now…
nice job
we will be ok, i like our depth in the backfield. The O-line is shaky as s@#t now though
"Hold ya chin up...nuh nuh nuh...gone" -Marshawn Lynch-
hmmmm.
I am really concerned with our defense…that was our saving grace. Kind of fishy. This sounds like a very well thought out plan of sabatoge…are we the only team in the NFL with this many injuries? Is someone plotting against us? Bad Karma?
It looks like injuries are a problem everywhere.
I remain convinced that somehow Drew Rosenhaus negotiated a playing time deal for Roscoe into the contract for TO.

well
it’s gut-check time for Trentative and AVP. If Scott starts at LT, I vote we start Fitzy at QB and stick with Fred and Beastie both in the backfield.
most of my posts get deleted :(
I vote we start Fitzy
wait, why?
