Kelly's outspoken nature on the team the past few seasons has me interested.
Gut feeling: I see Kelly putting together a group to buy the team. I think he feels too strongly about the team and the WNY area.
Now, what would be great is if the NFL made a special exemption and let the Bills run themselves similar to Green Bay. Then Kelly wouldn’t have to buy the whole team, just part.
He would make a great organization better. Having Kelly as part owner and team president would bring even more accountabilitiy to the GM/front office, coaches/staff, and players. And maybe he’s finally get a ring.

That would be the best possible outcome I can imagine.

That would be great, but coming up with some 900+ large will be a pretty tough task.

Who doesn’t have nearly a billion dollars lying around? (/sarcasm – don’t think I need that tag, but just in case anyone was wondering…)
Wouldn't it be ironic if this team imploded and it had nothing to do with TO?

With the team being valued at $909 Million I imagine that whomever buys the team will have to come up with at least that amount. Plus I am sure there are plenty of other fees involved, such as transaction fees, Lawyer fees and such. Somebody would have to come up with close to a solid Billion if they want to buy the team.

I really doubt the Jerry Jones’, Dan Snyder’s, Woody Johnson’s, etc would agree to the Bills being community owned…..

Interesting Tweet by Lee Evans.
One thing I’ve always wished they would do differently with Evans is give him some routes that allow him to get more YAC when he beats the defender. Last year, it seemed every route that he got separation on, the route took him out of bounds after he caught it (except the bomb from JP on the double move against the Cardinals).
Don’t know if that would have been on Turk or not, but man it would be nice to see Lee be able to run with the ball rather than his route taking him out of bounds immediately after the catch.
Wouldn't it be ironic if this team imploded and it had nothing to do with TO?

Now that I think about it more, I bet Lee is just wishing things could stop changing so much. He must really be a person that likes getting into a groove and staying there. He was the one who was most vocal about not wanting to flip back and forth between JP and Edwards 2 years ago, just for the sake of consistency. Reminds me of Eric Moulds and how he lamented never being able to stick with one QB for a long period.
Let’s hope Lee can grow through this seemingly necessary transition.

Lee has been here what six years now…and I’m still waiting for them to use him on crossing patterns over the middle. He’s one of the faster WR’s in the league, obviously, yet he only gets to show that off on the occasional deep ball. Hopefully, Van Pelt will see the opportunities here….

From the Kelly article:
“If you’re going to run the no-huddle offense there are a few things you need to change up, and hopefully I’ll get a chance to sit down and talk with Alex a little bit,” Kelly said.
Let’s hope so!

I think the Kelly article speaks volumes about his confidence in AVP. Alex can get the job done.
Sorry, Turk, the coach wants to see you…bring your playbook. The Turk visits the Turk! I admit I was an early supporter of Turk, but I guess it just goes to show you that knowledge of the game isn’t enough.
Get the Bills back to the big game!

i know, what’s up with that? lol, the ever influential jim kelly. it’s nice that he will give his friend some advice, but i hope alex doesn’t just do whatever jim says. you don’t want coaches who are easily influenced by others’ pressure or advice. you want an autonomous thinker, philosopher—who has knowledge of history—but who can make his own decisions.
